   Maurice, it’s going to be a long time. You been watching “I, Robot” over and over again?

   The first automatons will likely be military soldier-like applications, because that’s where the most money and practical research can come from.

   We may also see automatons operating in space explorations where hostile environments make the life-support of humans very impractical.

   But Rosie? Nah, not for quite a while yet.

   not in our lifetime unless you can make one. do you know how? i dont. just gotta deal with what we got and settle for those roombas that vacume a room on their own.

   They’ve made prototype robots that can do those individual tasks, but alot of them need a user program for individual tasks.
