I own a roomba as well.

I use it in my home office once or twice a week. You would be amazed how much dirt, dog hair and fine dust particles it picks up. It can also go places your regular vacuum can not.

I own and use the irobot Roomba. It does a great job.
It actually passes over the same area in a room at least 5 times. Works great on carpeting and bare floors.

Well no they really don’t work well, they are only for very light dust pickup, this is some peoples lazy way and are being taken for their money, they are not powerful enough to get heavy dirt etc, you would be best getting a cordless variety such as a motorless sweeper such as a bissell, I currently have one of these and they are wonderful just make sure you get the double brush variety, I have recommended these to several friends and family and they all love them as well Good Luck !
